COVID-19 Update, April 28

As we all continue to manage through our “new normal” during the COVID-19 Pandemic, I would like to provide you with an update about our Clinic. I know that many people have lots of questions about when we will re-open and what services are available to you while we are closed.

Ontario continues to be in a State of Emergency until at least mid-May. Our office remains closed until this is lifted or until we are allowed to return to work. If you have an emergent or acute injury, pain, or condition that requires attention and is definitely not resolving on its own, please contact us immediately. We want to effectively manage and support you while reducing unnecessary strain on frontline resources.

Vitual Care Appointments

I am very pleased and excited to announce that we are offering Virtual Care (Telehealth) appointments. This service expands accessibility to our health care services. Please email me if you would like to arrange a virtual appointment or you can book an appointment yourself with this direct link.

Treat your pain with injurymap app

Injurymap is an exercise app that helps you recover from muscle and joint pain. The app adjusts your exercise plan according to your specific needs. Due to the ongoing Pandemic, access to treatment of muscle and joint pain is currently very limited. To help as many as possible stick to their exercises and manage their pain, injurymap is free for new users until May 31.

Guided movement and relaxation for pain

Live-streaming and saved sessions that provide guided movement and relaxation for people living with pain from the comfort of their homes.

Our best-evidence approach to health/injury care, follows a multi-modal approach which may include: education/reassurance, spinal and extremity joint manipulation/mobilization, soft tissue therapy (i.e. Active Release Technique®), therapeutic, customized exercise prescription, physical modalities (i.e. Ultrasound and high-power Class IV Laser), registered massage therapy, core ball therapy, BOSU ball therapy, and kinesio taping.
