Meet Jacob Williams – Our New Chiropractic Intern
Education and Expertise
Jacob Williams is set to join motus HEALTH as a Chiropractic Intern this October. A recent graduate of the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Daytona Beach, FL, Jacob brings a wealth of knowledge in various chiropractic techniques.
Clinical Experience
During his time at Palmer College, Jacob gained valuable experience treating a variety of acute and chronic conditions. He continues to expand his knowledge and skills daily, with plans to pursue additional certifications in:
- CCMI Concussion Management
- GLAD Knee/Hip Arthritis Programs
- TPI Golf Biomechanics
Sports Background
Growing up with a passion for sports, Jacob played competitively for many years. His experience includes:
- Nearly a decade of AAA hockey
- A season of Junior C hockey with the Mooretown Flags
- Coaching boys’ and girls’ hockey teams
While a series of concussions ended his pursuit of a professional hockey career, this setback opened new doors and ultimately led him to discover his true calling in chiropractic care.
Jacob remains active in various sports and activities, including golf, weightlifting, volleyball, and pickleball.
Personal Mission
Inspired by his own experiences as a patient, particularly following a concussion, Jacob realized the profound impact that chiropractic care can have on people’s lives. This revelation led him to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University before beginning his chiropractic education.
Jacob is excited to begin his internship at motus HEALTH under the guidance of Dr. Erin White. He looks forward to meeting patients and helping them achieve their health and wellness goals through dedicated chiropractic care.
