Meet Kennedy Turcotte — Our New Chiropractic Intern
Kennedy Turcotte will begin her role as a Chiropractic Intern at motus HEALTH in January 2025.
“I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Daytona Beach, Florida, for the last three years, and it was truly an amazing experience.” Palmer College provided her with many tools that she is excited to share. The curriculum included four different chiropractic techniques, allowing Kennedy to develop a well-rounded approach to providing customized care to each of her patients.
Specialized Techniques and Continuing Education
She is committed to furthering her education in treating pregnant moms as well as babies and plans to pursue TPI Golf Biomechanics Certifications.
Athletic Background and Chiropractic Journey
Throughout her childhood, Kennedy was very involved in sports, participating in as many as her schedule allowed. She attended Concordia University of Edmonton in Alberta, where she earned a Bachelor of Science with a major in biology and a minor in psychology. While at Concordia, she played on the curling, badminton, and golf teams, combining her passion for sports with her academic pursuits.
Kennedy was first exposed to chiropractic during the national golf championship in Quebec, where she experienced excruciating low back pain. She was willing to try anything to finish the tournament.
“Thankfully, there was a chiropractor on site, and after my first adjustment, I believed in chiropractic. I was able to continue the tournament with my team, which consisted of my sister and me, finishing 5th in the country.” Ever since then, Kennedy has felt led to become a chiropractor and help as many people as possible.
