What is Chiropractic care?
Dr. Erin White describes chiropractic care as a non-invasive, conservative approach to healthcare that supports the body's natural function and mobility. This holistic method treats the whole person, focusing on identifying and addressing the root cause of pain.
The primary technique used is manual manipulation, or adjustments, which involves precise, targeted movements to correct misalignments, alleviate pain and discomfort, and restore proper joint motion and function. We are also trained in instrument-adjusting for those that don't enjoy the 'Pop'.

Active Release Technique
Keeping you properly aligned is our top priority. With Active Release Technique® (ART), we go beyond addressing spinal bones to focus on soft tissue issues. ART is a non-invasive, hands-on manual therapy designed to help those suffering from soft tissue, nerve, and joint injuries, reducing pain and dysfunction. This technique allows us to quickly identify the problem and work towards an effective resolution.
Before incorporating ART, Dr. Erin White was frustrated with the results of treating soft tissue injuries using only manual therapy. After completing the full-body ART training, he became a certified ART provider. By integrating ART into our range of therapies, we’ve seen greater success in treating these types of injuries.
What to Expect
Our chiropractors assess the texture, tightness, and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, and ligaments. If scar tissue is present, we can feel it as it restricts proper movement in soft tissues. This can lead to reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and even pain. If nerve tissue is trapped, symptoms such as tingling, numbness, and weakness may also occur.
When issues are detected, a specific amount of pressure is applied through targeted manual maneuvers, typically at the site of the injury. The results have been outstanding, especially with the neuromuscular system—muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia.
