“I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Daytona Beach, Florida, for the last three years, and it was truly an amazing experience.” Palmer College provided her with many tools that she is excited to share. The curriculum included four different chiropractic techniques, allowing Kennedy to develop a well-rounded approach to providing customized care to each of her patients.
Specialized Techniques and Continuing Education
Kennedy looks forward to continuing her education with the guidance of Dr. Erin White and the supportive practice team. Recently, she completed a seminar on the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). This specialized approach helps pregnant mothers throughout their pregnancies, preparing them for birth. She is committed to furthering her education in treating pregnant mothers as well as infants and children. Dr. Kennedy also plans to pursue the TPI Golf Biomechanics Certification.
Athletic Background and Chiropractic Journey
Throughout her childhood, Kennedy was very involved in sports, participating in as many as her schedule allowed. She attended Concordia University of Edmonton in Alberta, where she earned a Bachelor of Science with a major in biology and a minor in psychology. While at Concordia, she was a member of 3 varsity sports teams. These included the curling, badminton, and golf teams.
Kennedy was first exposed to chiropractic during the CCAA National Golf Championships in Quebec, where she experienced excruciating low back pain. She was willing to try anything to finish the tournament.
“Thankfully, there was a chiropractor on site, and after my first adjustment, I believed in chiropractic. I was able to continue the tournament with my team, (which included my sister) finishing 5th in the country.” This experience led Kennedy to becoming a chiropractor with the mission of helping others in any way she can! Dr. Kennedy will be starting as a Chiropractor at motus HEALTH this Summer!
