Megan Dupuis is our new and exciting addition to the Motus HEALTH Team. Originally from Petrolia, she is thrilled to return and provide care for the community she is proud to call home. Her strong local roots include years of instructing private swim lessons and a lifelong participation in sport, with a focus in competitive hockey and softball. She later competed at an elite and national level with the University of Ottawa softball team. While completing her Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree at uOttawa, Megan had the privilege of working alongside varsity athletics in both sideline medical coverage and strength and conditioning programming. Her passion for helping others move better and live happier began as an athlete, and she is looking forward to reconnecting with local athletics and supporting athletes of all ages in the Lambton region.
In addition to her athletic background, Megan has a special interest in female care across the lifespan. She is actively pursuing additional training in perinatal, postpartum, and peri-/post-menopausal health to better support women through the physical demands of life’s changes. She has led several female care-based workshops in the Greater Toronto Area, and is thrilled to bring her knowledge and expertise to the Sarnia-Lambton region. Megan has additional training in functional movement assessment and patterning, treating vertigo and vestibular dysfunction, and has future plans to become certified in medical acupuncture, GLA:D for knee/hip osteoarthritis, and Active Release Therapy.
Megan’s clinical approach pairs evidence-based care with functional movement and tailored rehabilitation to empower individuals to feel strong and capable in their daily lives. Her goal is to find and treat the source of symptoms to provide long-lasting solutions. She strives to equip patients with the tools they need to thrive beyond the clinic, and she encourages patients to find balance in sustainable lifestyle choices. In her personal time, Megan adheres to her own principals by working out and staying active, spending time with family, or bundled with a cozy blanket, coffee, and book.
Megan will be practicing Mondays and Thursdays in Sarnia, as well as Wednesdays and Fridays at Motus HEALTH Corunna.
